Tom Witkowski has been with Cowleys since 2006, joining us with three years of experience as a pest control technician. He made the move to Cowleys because of the opportunity to be more involved with the inspection side of the business. When it comes to inspections, Tom is a natural. With a keen eye for detail, and a meticulousness that leaves no stone unturned, he picks up small, subtle signs of infestations, especially termites, or water intrusion issues that can lead to mold and other property damage if not corrected. Tom enjoys dealing directly with customers and building a rapport.
Tom appreciates the variety of assignments at Cowleys. Every day is different. He can go from inspecting an attic for wildlife, to crawling through a crawl space for rodents, to inspecting an attic or crawl space for moisture problems and mold. He also has extensive experience with WDI (wood destroying insect) inspections, and understands that potential home purchasers are relying on his expertise for what is often the largest, most important purchase in their lives. Tom takes this responsibility very seriously and very personally, and handles every inspection as though he were doing it for himself or a family member.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys sports, anything that is done outdoors. He especially loves mountain biking, traveling, and skiing. He is also a “foodie” and fancies himself as the Anthony Bourdain of Neptune City. He loves to seeking out new experiences with foods that are “off the beaten bath,” and appreciates living an area where there are so many opportunities to try different cuisines from all over the world.
